  I was referred to Dr. Hughes by the Viera Hospital two days ago. I tried the next day to contact Dr. Hughes' office to schedule an apt as my health issue is worsening and I need to be seen. I have left 3 messages on their answering machine and have not received a call back. This is not what I want or need in a Dr. so I am moving on. Very unfortunate for the Dr., he needs a staff that can handle the office duties or to give the office staff the benefit of the doubt he needs to not take on so many patients. :(

  Office staff is horrible at calling patients back, even after multiple calls, after being promised a call back, still nothing or even scheduling appointments. Was supposed to have an appointment this past Tuesday, so we show up and the woman forgot to put us on the schedule, and they were "too booked up" to squeeze us in. Just incompetent. If you have another option take it, because as good as the doc is, the staff will leave you disappointed.
