  No Pills All Bills The visit was to obtain pain medication. It turned out she would not even consider prescribing until more tests and more visits. This was not made clear prior to this visit, though I explained the situation regarding running out of medication due to the weeks long wait for this first appointment. I explained and provided records documenting the long-term and ongoing continuing care of chronic pain to staff prior to making the appointment. That did no good. If a doctor refuses to prescribe needed medication I want to know up front. I feel I was deceived, and in more ways than just that. Saw this doctor once with approval from insurance company. Paid co-pay and my insurance paid the rest for the appointment. BUT ....she continues to charge for extra fees for a form filled out at registration. Unknown to me and not having been told that the few questions would cost me extra. These fees and that form were supposedly related to the prescription she refused to prescribe!!! NO WAY. She was bad, inattentive and uncaring at that first“visit”. She would not complete the consult until she had x-rays or such in hand. Yet she charges for a service related to opioids, the Vicodin she did not and would not even consider prescribing at that first and only visit. Never will and never want to see Lily Voepel again but she has never let me alone. Though she may ignore you a patient she will peruse you with a Terminator's focus to collect what she thinks you owe her. It is scary how a doctor can make a patient a victim of both her billing and medical practices. Since a few days after that first, only and unhappy visit we have been getting phone calls, emails and texts at least EVERY week in spite of demands to stop. This Doctor is more bill collector than physician. Don’t see Dr Voepel unless you want pain that no pill can fix.

  The Dr. was correct in the 3 shot explanation. I have been seeing her for 10 years now, through the Back Center, and she gets her job done, all the while being pleasant about it. Yes, she is a fast Doctor, I think due to her job at the Back Center. I'm sure she had to produce there, but you do get used to her personality. It is certainly worth getting used to her as she helps you immensely! I have been seeing doctors for almost 20 years now due to a surgery that didn't go well. During that time I have used and met many doctors as they came and went at the Back Center. They all have different personalities and abilities. Dr. Voepel was definitely the best.
